NYT: “The Ivy League Was Another Planet” (Claire Vaye Watkins)

As an educator, this op-ed article touches on the underlying realities of recruitment and attendance to elite universities in America.  Coming from a small rural town myself, I found numerous similarities between this article and the college/career choices many of my hometown friends and I made after high school.  Read this if you truly want to open doors for your students.
